Our 2nd Annual Golf Tournament July 15, 2019!

Details for Tournament and Dinner


Boulder Ridge Golf Club is located behind Almaden Lake Park off of Winfield, the address is - 1000 Old Quarry Rd, San Jose, CA 95123

  • 9:30am - Registration Opens
  • 10:00am - Putting contest ($10 buy in)
  • 11:00am - Tee off at your designated hole (list will be at registration table)
  • 4:00pm - Dinner only guests arrive
  • 4:15pm - Closest to the pin final on hole 9 (top 4 to go to final)
  • 4:30pm - BBQ Buffet dinner
  • 5:00pm  - Tournament prizes and Raffle


Registration table will be inside the clubhouse, please make sure to check in and get your gift bag and we will have your hole assignment there for you.  You can also purchase raffle tickets, putting contest entry fee and mulligan’s at the registration table.

Putting contest

We will have a putting contest which will be located at the putting green next to the clubhouse.  It will be a single long hole putting contest.  The three closest will have a single putt-off to decide the winner! The cost is $10 per ball.


The mulligans will be only for the golf tournament.  Mulligens will be $5 each. You will be able to use the mulligan’s at any of the holes during the tournament.

Tournament contests

Longest drive - This will be at the hole #1, a drive marker will be on the fairway.  

Closest to the Pin - the qualifying hole will be hole #14 and then the top 4 that are closest will go on to the final at the end of the tournament at hole #9 for a single drive each to decide the winner! Mulligen’s will not be used in the final. In the event we have a hole in one at the qualifying hole we will not have a final, that will be our winner.

Top team score - will be awarded to the lowest team score. 

Winners will be announced at 5:00pm.

Tournament format

This is a scramble style tournament. In scramble format, all players tee off, choose which shot is best and all play their next shots from the location of the best shot. For the men please use the silver marker at the holes to tee off and for the women please use the jade colored marker.

Dress code for tournament

We ask that each golfer please wear a collared shirt, no jeans and appropriate shoes. 

Non registered guests

Since this is a private golf course, people that have not registered will not be allowed to attend the tournament or dinner event.

Beverages on the course

Water jugs will be at every 3rd hole and a beverage cart will be available on the course for purchase.  Please do not bring your own beverages to the course as no outside drinks or food are allowed on the course.  

Bar in the clubhouse

The bar in the clubhouse will be open and available to golfer and dinner only guests starting at 4:00pm

Lastly, if you have registered for others golfer can you please make sure they get this information.
